Linnea Jackson

RN Case Manager

Linnea brings 37 years of nursing experience to Gianna Homes and is delighted to have landed here to cap off her career. She grew up in Eden Prairie and knew from very early on that she wanted to be a nurse. She graduated from Montana State University in 1981 with an RN degree and has worked in hospitals, clinics, public health and long-term care. Her nursing career changed course when she became an RN Care Manager for Seasons Hospice residential home in Rochester where she found her passion for the dying and their families. After her husband’s career change brought us to Southeastern Minnesota, she found meaning as a parish nurse providing holistic care to parishioners and the community of La Crescent. Her most recent position as a Telephone Nurse Advisor granted her the skills to become an excellent listener and she learned new things daily. In addition to a broad career, she also brings life experience to Gianna Homes as well. She cared for her father for 8 weeks in his home until he passed away from blood cancer and is currently walking the long goodbye with my own mother suffering from Alzheimer’s. She can relate all too well with Gianna Homes families and share in the devotion to provide the best care for your loved ones.

She has been married to her husband Rick for 33 years and raised 2 beautiful daughters, Laura and Annie, who are now on their own paths. Laura and her soon-to-be husband Mandelle blessed her with her first grandchild, Liam, who is our world! Her family enjoys spending time together, especially at their cabin up north. She enjoys friends and family time, nature, sewing and crafting, biking and walks with her black lab Cooper.
