If you know someone living with a form of dementia-such as Alzheimer’s Disease-you know about the feelings of despair, confusion, loss and pain that go side by side with memory loss.
But even with memory loss, life can still offer many rewards.
Are you interested in a place where individuals challenged with memory loss can continue living, can continue doing, can continue loving?
What would this place be like?
We invite you to come take a closer look at our homes.
- Providing memory care with a loving kindness that respects the dignity of each resident. Welcome Home!
- Gianna Homes provides exceptional senior memory care in two residential homes as well as in-home care.
- We demonstrate a unique understanding of memory loss and the challenges it creates for our residents and their families.
- We are dedicated to preserving the dignity of an individual while providing for his or her medical, social and spiritual needs. Our care is given in a home designed to honor God, nurture family, and foster friendship.
We strive to know the person behind the disease. By partnering with the family we are able to adapt and comply with the psycho-social needs of our residents. Because of the decrease in cognitive abilities associated with dementia-particularly with Alzheimer’s, Lewy Body, Parkinsons and Frontal Lobe – we must do our best to preserve the whole person, and support a lifestyle that is meaningful and wholesome.
There are those who live on this earth in such a way that they make the world a better place for others.
Dr. Gianna was a woman of uncompromising love who demonstrated complete commitment to those in her care, and who gave unparalleled devotion to her faith, her family, and her profession.
At Gianna Homes our focus is on more than health care. We are concerned with LIFE CARE.
Our staff members receive thorough and continuous training.
All staff members receive specialized training in Alzheimer’s/Dementia Care, Befrienders Ministry, Hospitality, Customer Service, Emergency Procedure, Safety Training, Medication Passing Procedure, Infection Control, Housekeeping/laundry care, Orientation to Home Care Bill of Rights, HIPAA compliance and all other requirements of our Assisted Living License and Housing with Services license.
At both of our homes, we have nursing aides on duty 24 hours a day. Our staff to resident ratio is one of the highest in the business and is based on census.
